ASK implemented the “Advanced Facilitation Skills TOT PD Program” for the Civil Society Program / FHI 360 which targeted expert trainers from community-based organizations in Jordan. The goal of the program was to enhance the facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills of expert trainers from those organizations by empowering them to conduct more effective and interactive facilitation sessions throughout their careers.
A flexible, interactive and differentiated program was designed, developed and implemented by ASK to accommodate to the expert trainers’ varying expertise, field of work and years of experience. Throughout the program, ASK assisted the expert trainers in building their own mentoring, coaching and facilitation toolkit to be utilized in the field, and provided them with a comprehensive Trainer’s Guide, which incorporated the latest practices, techniques and strategies in professional development focusing on facilitation skills.
The program was successful in equipping participants with the necessary tools to advance their implementation of dynamic and interactive training activities and build a community of continuous professional development (CPD) in the workplace.
